I'm Pedro Vicente, passionate about software development and building unique applications. I work across full-stack development, quality engineering, and UX design, focusing on intuitive experiences, data-intensive systems, and creative solutions.
I work as a Software Engineer at BMO Capital Markets, where I design and develop end-to-end solutions, including automation frameworks and back-end systems that support the SDLC for Market Risk systems. The products I work on span Java and Web applications, cloud microservices, APIs, and back-end testing, with emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability. These solutions support Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR), the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB), and Limit Monitoring.
I'm originally from São Paulo, Brazil, but spent part of my childhood in Mexico. I later moved to Toronto, Canada, to pursue my Bachelor's degree in Digital Enterprise Management and Computer Science at the University of Toronto.
Beyond my 9 to 5, I actively work on passion projects that fuse software development, user-centric design, and immersive experiences. My work spans creating engaging social platforms, whether for games or social media, and leveraging AI to enhance both functionality and user interaction. I'm really interested in Mobile and Web Development and also working with other passionate people.
