I'm Pedro, passionate about software development and building applications. I work across full-stack development, quality engineering, UX design, focusing on intuitive experiences, data-intensive systems, and system architecture.
I work as a Software Engineer focused in Systems Architecture and Automation at BMO Capital Markets, where I design and develop end-to-end solutions, including automation frameworks and back-end systems that support the SDLC for Market Risk systems. The products I work on span Mobile, Java and Web applications, AWS and Azure cloud microservices, APIs, and back-end testing, with emphasis on performance, reliability, and scalability. These solutions support Counterparty Credit Risk (CCR), the Fundamental Review of the Trading Book (FRTB), and Limit Monitoring.
I'm originally from São Paulo, Brazil, but spent part of my childhood in Mexico. I currently live in Toronto, Canada, where I pursued my Bachelor's degree in Digital Enterprise Management and Computer Science at the University of Toronto.
Beyond my 9 to 5, I actively work on passion projects that fuse software development, system architecture, user-centric design, and immersive experiences. My work spans creating engaging social platforms, whether for AI, games, apps. I'm really interested in Mobile and Web Development and working with other passionate people.
